She also practices law and is a partner of the law firm Philippe and Partners. She is a member of the Liege Bar Association. She serves as President of the Academy and oversees for the Academy programmes related to Law Sciences. |

Professor Michel Deza made important contributions in applied mathematics, esp. discrete geometry, combinatorics and optimization. He published over 240 research papers, co-authored 4 books and gave numerous invited talks in international conferences. He is, since 1980, Editor-in-chief of European Journal of Combinatorics, belongs to editorial board in 8 other international journals and edited numerous books. |

André Leclercq, graduate in Law and in Economic Law, has managed his career since 1979 in major European companies and is one of the most recognised specialist in Human Resources Management in Europe. Fabricom, Ikea, Diamant Boart, Volkswagen, Holcim and since 2003 Arcelor are the companies he has been working for. He has always been involved in major strategic projects and has every time played the role of the “human federator” giving the project teams the power to achieve their ambitious goals through the empowerment of their members and through a very professional management style of the project governance. André is today in charge of Human Resources and Social Cohesion for the Business Unit “Flat Carbon Steel” of Arcelor in Europe (130.000 people).He is also Executive in more than 10 non-profit associations |
